My Experience
My name is Andrew Lavery and problem solving is what I do for a living. In my current position in the insurance industry, I work on complex problems with the goal of making processes more efficient to deliver improved results. I will bring that experience and work ethic to the Canton Board of Ed.

My wife grew up in Canton. After spending some time here, we decided to move our family to Canton in December 2016. We are looking forward to many more years here.
My Priorities
School Resource Officer (SRO)
We need a School Resource Officer. SROs enhance safety, foster trust, and provide mentorship, ensuring a secure learning environment for everyone.
Beyond The Bell
This afterschool program is very important to students and parents. I want to bring it back.
School Bullying

Parents report their child's bullying persisted despite reporting it to the school administration. We need to fix that!
Special Ed. Services
​
Some parents have experienced difficulty with their child receiving all the hours promised in their Individualized Education Plans (IEP). Students in special ed. need all the hours in their IEPs to be fulfilled. Nothing less.
